With the Technisat DIGIPLUS UHD S you can enjoy 4K content (as well as SH and HD), the DIGIPLUS UHD S is the perfect addition to your UHD TV set.

The satellite receiver has a DVB-S/S2 TwinTuner for simultaneous viewing and recording of two different programs. You can then store the recordings very flexibly on USB data device or over the home network on NAS storage.

The DIGIPLUS UHD S also plays UHD video files from the network or from USB. The receiver can be used in the network as a UPnP client and server and thus becomes a perfect multimedia center.

The DIGILPUS UHD S can stream live content to a multimedia device with the appropriate UPnP-capable media player such as a mobile device, smart TV, tablet, laptop etc.

Thanks to the TechniSat CONNECT app, you can easily control the DIGITPLUS UHD S not only at home, but also access the receiver at any time on the go to set new recordings.

UHD/4K Thanks to support for the latest standards (HDMI with 4K 50 / 60p / HDCP 2.2 / HEVC H.265), the receiver processes (if broadcasted) 4K satellite TV and passes the ultra-high-resolution images to a suitable UHD/4K TV set. The ISIO STC also plays UHD files from a network or USB3.0 connected device.

UHD/4K Upscaling With UHD/4K upscaling can enjoy various non-UHD content such high definition TV programmes and movies on Blu-ray or DVD, can be viewed with improved picture quality. With UHD upscaling the source material is processed and played out in in sharp UHD / 4K resolution, which approximates a UHD display for lower resolution content.

Easy Auto-Install Using your Technisat box for the first time requires a number of important settings storing specific to your location. Clear on-screen instructions from the Technisat easy installation wizard will guide you through an easy-to-understand set up procedure. You will be up and running in no time.

Twin Tuner This means that two progeammes can be recorded at the same time, i.e. one programme can be recorded and the other viewed and recorded. You can also watch two programmes in parallel (picture in picture).

DVR Ready USB/NAS Do not miss any more programmes and record your favourite films, TV programmes and music losslessly via USB such as USB hard drives and memory sticks. When integrated in to the home network recordings can also be saved directly to shared network storage (NAS) with this device. NAS stands for Network Adressed Storage and is becoming increasingly common at home which makes data readily available to a whole range of devices.

Common Interface CI+ This (common) interface is used in combination with a CI or CI+ module and corresponding SmartCard to enable access to encrypted programming such as Pay TV or Pay Radio. CI+ 1.3 compatible.

Perfect Recording Offers detection of broadcast time postponement in DVR mode. EPG permitting.

Pay-TV Ready This device enables you to receive encrypted content from a subscription based Pay TV provider.

PIP function The Picture in Picture (PIP) function enables the TV picture for one channel to be minimised and shown at the edge of the screen while another is watched on the main TV screen.

Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) This device can be integrated into a home network. In this way, different multimedia devices can be networked directly via UPnP/DLNA (e.g. PC, television, audio system). 

Camping This device can be operated using both normal 110/230V mains and a 12V power supply, e.g. for a vehicle. Hence it is suitable for both home and mobile use.

Editing Function Recorded programmes can be edited later via handy cutting and editing tools (e.g. to remove advertising slots).

MyTechnisat MultiPlay App With the Android MyTechnisat MultiPlay App you can access all your films, music and photos in the entire home network from your tablet and play the media on all UPnP/DLNA compatible devices.

TechniMatic This free updating service from TechniSat keeps the software on your device up to date. As soon as enhancements or improvements to the operating software are available, the set carries out an automatic software update at the appropriate time (adjustable in the menu on the TV). This ensures a high level of future-security and a wider and improved range of functions.
