The Smargo SmartReader V2 is a USB smartcard reader / writer based on a powerful ARM core processor.

The Smargo Smart Reader V2 incorporates an integrated USB to Serial converter, which enables the device to work with all standard Phoenix compatible Linux and Microsoft Windows applications.

The SmartReader V2 is a second generation smartcard reader now in a matte Grey ABS case that can be connected directly into the USB port of a Linux or Windows computer or Set Top Box without the need for extra cables or power supply. Firmware design is fully improved to meet all latest smartcard needs. New hardware design is based on the industry-leading 32-bit ARM Cortex™-M3 processor.

The Smargo Reader V2 SmartReader supports Linux/Windows computers and receivers like VU+ HD/4K PVR Linux Twin Tuner and various Linux and Windows applications for PCI-DVB or USB-DVB.
